Firstly, congratulations on your engagement! I hope the wedding planning is going well so far. Thank you for enquiring with Melissa Taylor Design, for all your wedding stationery needs. I love creating wedding stationery and my aim is to make the entire stationery process as enjoyable, stress free and collaborative as possible. As well as making your wedding stationery dreams come true.
Step 1
Let's Get started
Whether you have seen one of my stationery suites that you like and want to build off, or you would like to go bespoke and create something totally different. I have both options available and we can go through that in detail in this first step. I will send you a Design Guide that contains all the information you will need and answer the most commonly asked questions. Once you are happy to go ahead and order, please complete my online order form, (that I will also send to you along with the design guide. The guide will help you complete this.
House Collections
House Collections are perfect for brides that want to see an idea first, and are a great starting off point. This process includes changing the paper, colour and text. Changed to be made personal to you. It is also a more budget friendly option. These designs are a set price which you can see on my price list on the next page. Two sets of proofs are included before a final print proof is sent.
Bespoke
Alternatively bespoke are great for brides that have a totally unique idea in mind and want to create something original. This starts from £100, plus printing cost. This includes 3 designs based on your inspiration for me to work on until we reach the final stationery suite that you have always envisioned.

Step 3
Ready to book
If you are happy with everything discussed and are ready to book, send me an email and I will send you across the Design Guide and order form for you to complete. I will then send you an invoice for a 50% deposit. Once paid, this confirms your design date and I will send you this date along with all the details on how I start designing your stationery.
Step 4
Design time
I want you to be involved in the process so I keep you up to date on each step throughout. I love to hear your feedback to ensure I am creating exactly what you had pictured and more.
Firstly, I will send the initial sketch of how the invite will look going off the information you provided me with. Making any changes needed. I will then go ahead and create the final design, again sending it across for you to check you are happy with how it looks. Two sets of proofs are included before a final print proof is sent.
Step 5
Final approval
Final approvalI will send over the final pdf that will then be sent to print. So make sure you check it over thoroughly, making sure all the information is correct and there are no spelling mistakes. (The fear is real! haha) I cannot be held responsible for any errors, spelling mistakes or changes after the proofs have been approved – so get a friend or family member to check them over too!
Once you have approved your proofs, your final invoice will be issued.
Step 6
Print & delivery
Print & deliveryOnce the final payment is received your order will go to print. Yay... Exciting!!
Please allow about 1-2 weeks for printing. Once everything is printed I will package it up for you.
Lastly, we will arrange a date for collection or delivery, whichever you prefer. (Please note that delivery will incur an additional fee.)
